Eagle Mount Big Sky Ski Program
2009-2010 Season

Eagle Mount’s Big Sky Ski Program is able to offer destination lessons for children and adults with a wide range of physical and developmental disabilities. Eagle Mount’s Big Sky Ski program creates the opportunity for all individuals no matter their disability to enjoy the exhilaration of snowsports.

Eagle Mount’s Big Sky Ski Program has a core staff of trained, and knowledgeable instructors. Staff assists volunteer instructors in all adaptive lessons. All volunteer instructors are specifically trained in adaptive skills.

All destination ski lessons are private using one or more instructors per student. Most lessons are conducted with two or more instructors. Multiple instructors are used to ensure safe management of the adaptive equipment and the lesson. Eagle Mount's various types of adaptive equipment, including mono-skis, bi-skis, ski-legs, snow sliders and outriggers.

Lessons are available all winter long. Visiting skiers can schedule a lesson by appointment at Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin and all other local resorts.

Lessons are offered from 10am-12pm and from 1pm-3pm. Lessons are 60 dollars per two hour session. The cost of lessons includes all necessary adaptive equipment, instructors and lift ticket for the full day.
