There are four Big Sky Kids events in 2012.  Have you ever wanted to ride a horse like the pioneers of old, raft the last of the great un-dammed rivers in the United States, take a tour of America's oldest national park, visit the home of one of the nations most famous western artists, see a grizzly bear up close, watch a wild and woolly vaudeville play, and camp out by a sleepy mountain stream?  Check out our camps!  For more information or to apply, please contact us.

Spring Fling, March 23-25
Spring Fling is a winter ski weekend for the whole family.  Spring Fling families meet in Bozeman, Montana for world-class downhill and cross-country skiing at Big Sky Resort and Lone Mountain Ranch. Campers and their families have a chance to reunite, share stories, and hang out at the pool.

Big Sky Adventure Camp, June 20-June 29
The Big Sky Adventure Camp is a ten day, all expense paid vacation for a young cancer patient, aged 11 through 18, and one parent. Montana's Big Sky and Yellowstone Park offer scenery, fishing, hiking, rafting, camping, climbing, horseback riding and many other forms of outdoor recreation.  A volunteer doctor and RN attend the camp, and campers are assisted by a great group of Eagle Mount staff, volunteers, and counselors who have been Big Sky Kids in the past.

Young Adult Retreat, July 17-25
The Young Adult Retreat offers a yearly getaway for teens only, so leave the folks at home!  Campers must be aged 16-23 and must be in remission.  Activities include camping in the backcountry, sea kayaking along the shore, soaking at Chico Hot Springs, whitewater rafting down a river, and horseback riding in the Montana wilderness.  A volunteer RN attends the camp, and campers are assisted by a great group of Eagle Mount staff, volunteers, and counselors who have been Big Sky Kids in the past.

Camp Braveheart, August 8-12
Camp Braveheart is a special Big Sky Kids camp for little children, aged 5 to 10, who have been diagnosed with cancer.  The children plus their immediate family stay at Hyalite Youth Camp on the shores of Hyalite Reservoir.  Activities include hiking, fishing, horseback riding, singing, special guests, games, and arts and crafts!  A volunteer doctor and RN attend the camp, and campers are assisted by a great group of Eagle Mount staff, volunteers, and counselors who have been Big Sky Kids in the past.

We are always coming up with new adventures and family reunions to serve our growing family of Big Sky Kids.
